    You can Rename it to .bak instead of .sys if you don't think you will need the driver. And yes it is an AMD driver. U have nothing AMD on ur machine?? how weird... Rename it to .bak and then run verifier.

    what drivers should i check in the verifier? amdxata.sys is not listed already

    All except microsoft drivers. I wanna see if it gets you another BSOD. Remember what blue screen says and post new dump up if it does. If it Does not BSOD your probably fixed.

    well the first time i booted it (the verifier was on), it booted..but the second time i booted it( verifier still on) it didn't boot..

    I already formatted my pc. but it's ok cause all my files are on the other partition..my question is, what are the things i have to do so that i can prevent these bsods in the future? and should i still use google chrome?(because that program is the reason why i'm always getting BSODs)
