This one is boggling me, for about a week or so ive been experience system freezes usually application freezes with audio looping, ie winamp.
with photoshop

was doing things like layer editing, cut selection
with spring (game client)

Would changes to environment variables cause something like this, since i had to change them about a week or so ago? Due to hard drive partition.
