    BSOD before login

    Hello Forum members!

Since yesterday i have this problem with my pc, before I can login the BSOD appears, in safe mode and in normal mode.
System restore (to restore point) and startup restore from my windows 7 disk could not fix the problem.
Startup repair shows that my OS is on D: drive while i am pretty sure it is on C: drive.

the memory test from the windows 7 cd sais there are no problems

Sadly i am pretty sure this problem is caused by a virus. It started when i openen an .EXE file, a popup appeared "please activate windows defender" (which should have been active) and directly after that a popup that some program tried to acces the internet and if i would allow it (the standard thing). Before i could click anything the computer crashed and i have not been able to start it up again.

My system is just a few months old.
    some specs i remember

    Windows 7 ultimate x64
    I5 processor
    6GB ram

Maybe there is some virusscanner i can use in dos or something?

I have read the rules about posting and i understand i need to also upload some file.. because there is no way i can do anything with my pc i can't create this file.

I hope someone can help me with this problem because i really need my pc for work and i can't afford to bring it to a store for a few days..

If you need more info, please ask!

    Kind regards
