    Norton is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Uninstall Norton using the Norton Removal Tool in Safe Mode. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Make sure Windows firewall is enabled

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    *                                                                             *

    In Safe Mode, uninstall your nVidia drivers. Run Driver Sweeper to clean up. Install nVidia drivers.
