great, the BSOD problem isn't fixed. when the pc is in use, it works fine. but i just went downstairs for dinner (now about an hour ago), and when i got up windows was just finishing a reboot
i added another set of files.... could somone please look at it? tnx
this is what the tiny screen said at boot:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: FFFFFA0007CD5540
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF80002B8A80C
BCP4: 0000000000000007
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1
edit: this may be caused by a HDD failure... i just changed the HDD-shutdown time in energy control right after i posted this. 45 mins later my pc hasn't BSOD'd yet. i'm leaving it on to see if there's anything else that might've caused it.
