Girlfreind's computer runs into BSOD's quite a bit; the frequency is irregular but, after running Blue Screen Veiwer I found that the driver
it points to as the problem is ntoskrnl.exe+70740.
A quick look around in device manager shows that most drivers
are up to date in terms of the hardware, minus the CD/DVD rom drive that has a driver that is from 2006 that Windows deems up to date. Probably not it. Computer runs pretty clean; checking with Process Explorer most things are Windows operations, with McAfee VSE (virus scan enterprise) as protection and Zonealarm as a firewall.
Regarding the computer itself:
Windows7 Home Premium, 64-bit full retail.
Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop
Dual-Core 4300 @ 2.10 Ghz, no overclocking
Laptop is about a year old, and the OS hasn't been reinstalled.
I'm running jcgriff's utility now, and will post the dumps when I get them.
Thanks in advance,
