This isn't a put-on is it?
You have only 479MB of RAM? How can windows 7 run on that little memory? The minimum RAM requirements for Windows 7 is 1GB of memory. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built (GeneO industries)/Model 3 OS Windows 7 64 bit SP1 CPU i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz, 1.264V 124 GFlop (IBT with AVX) Motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Memory 16GB (4GBx4) 1600MHz G.skill Ripjaws X 8-8-8-24 Graphics Card MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC, 2GB 7160 MHz DDR5 clock, 1228 Mhz Core Sound Card Onboard Realtek HD Monitor(s) Displays NEC Spectraview 2490WUXi-SV Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 Keyboard HP Wireless Mouse HP wireless PSU Seasonic X-850 (2012 KM3 model) Case Fractal Design "Define R3" Cooling CM TPC 812 push/pull, 3 120mm, 2 TY-140 case fans Hard Drives Samsung 128GB 840 Pro SSD (System), Crucial 128GB M4 SSD, 2x WD Caviar 1TB Black internal (data), 1x WD Blue 6Gb/s 1TB Internal, 1x 2TB eSata WD20EARS Green, 2x 500GB Seagate external USB, 1x 350GB exte Internet Speed 27.8 Mb/s down, 5.6 Mb/s up Other Info USB 3.0 x4 , SATA III x4, eSATA x3, SATA II x4, USB 2.0 x8. 2 Samsung DVD R/W drives.

"Always Charging" you say? Sounds like the battery is dying, try running the Laptop without the battery, only leave the power lead connected and see if it does it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Build OS MS Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 CPU AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor Socket AM3+ (942) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Actually I have heard of Windows 7 to install on 512MB, but it really really really recommends at least 1GB for 32-Bit.
I almost gasped for air when I saw that screen shot.
Usually OS shuts down as well when the Processor gets too hot so it will shut down as a safety precaution. Might be a dirty fan, needs new heatsink, paste.. whatever.
Also, your ram might be going too.. but usually it doesn't shut down, windows will just crash. *lol* | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion Elite HPE-410f OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Phenom x6 1045t Motherboard N/A Memory 8 GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5570 Sound Card Realtek Highdefinition Audio / 5.1 Dolby Setup Monitor(s) Displays HP w2207h Widescreen Screen Resolution 1680*1050 Keyboard Logitech MX 5500 Mouse Logitech MX 5500 PSU 350 Watt Case HP CASE Cooling Bass Hard Drives 1 TB (fixed), 320 Portable maxtor, Server Hard drives Internet Speed ROAD RUNNER 16MB D/512 U |

should i downgrade to XP. (it was originally XP) LOL. No, I thought maybe you just upgraded from XP to 7. If it is just shutting down it is likely a heat issue or your battery. Does it feel hot? Did it recently have a fall or anything (that could damage the coolling system). | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built (GeneO industries)/Model 3 OS Windows 7 64 bit SP1 CPU i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz, 1.264V 124 GFlop (IBT with AVX) Motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Memory 16GB (4GBx4) 1600MHz G.skill Ripjaws X 8-8-8-24 Graphics Card MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC, 2GB 7160 MHz DDR5 clock, 1228 Mhz Core Sound Card Onboard Realtek HD Monitor(s) Displays NEC Spectraview 2490WUXi-SV Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 Keyboard HP Wireless Mouse HP wireless PSU Seasonic X-850 (2012 KM3 model) Case Fractal Design "Define R3" Cooling CM TPC 812 push/pull, 3 120mm, 2 TY-140 case fans Hard Drives Samsung 128GB 840 Pro SSD (System), Crucial 128GB M4 SSD, 2x WD Caviar 1TB Black internal (data), 1x WD Blue 6Gb/s 1TB Internal, 1x 2TB eSata WD20EARS Green, 2x 500GB Seagate external USB, 1x 350GB exte Internet Speed 27.8 Mb/s down, 5.6 Mb/s up Other Info USB 3.0 x4 , SATA III x4, eSATA x3, SATA II x4, USB 2.0 x8. 2 Samsung DVD R/W drives.
