    Windows 7 x64 BSOD while streaming movies to my TV.


    I have machine running windows 7 x64. I just did a fresh install to see if this would resolve my issue while streaming movies to my tv but it still freezes up and usually reboots the computer.

    It's a retail Ultimate copy of Windows 7. The computer hardware is about 16 months old. If you need any other info please let me know.

    No dump files are present in the attachment
    Try to update your graphic drivers

    - Uninstall the Nvidia drivers
    - Reboot in safe mode with networking
    - Use driver sweeper to remove leftover Nvidia display driver files Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
    - Reboot into safe mode with networking
    - Install the latest drivers NVIDIA DRIVERS 266.58 WHQL
    - Reboot into normal mode

    Here is minidump that was created after crash. Those nvidia drivers are current now. See anything else that might be wrong or causing this?

    A couple of glaring problems

    1-asacpi.sys (2005) a huge cause of BSOD's.

    The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
    Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
    Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
    Download and install it.
    Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).
    2-ESET remove and replace with Microsoft security essentials

    3-This one DMP doesnt give us much info but points to an OS file called nwifi.sys. While I dont believe that is the cause you should run a system file check to verify and repair your OS files.

Hey there, for some months now my pc has random bsods. Most of the time a BSOD happens when I am streaming movies from my pc to my Samsung TV by using Plex. I replaced my old 7970 graphic card today because it was broke and already showed funny red pixels and patterns during the boot...
I think is related to Teamviewer or streaming, i cannot get the finger on it. BSOD is rare but seem to fit with Teamviewer session. I got 2 BSOD within one hour, one at 2013-12-30 20:26 and another one at 2013-12-30 21:54. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it :D.
Almost every time I watch iPlayer or a streaming movie site, the movie just stutters and keeps buffering, for about half a second. It repeates this thing every 10-30 seconds! I tried the Microsoft drivers, and I have downloaded the newest Marvell drivers for my network card, but nothing changed....
I have an idea, and thought I would throw it out there to see what the masses (mainly you geeks here on the Forums) might feel about it: Now there are Premium movie channels out there in the wild (cable and disk); they are HBO, Showtime, and Starz, etc. You have to pay to view these channels,...
I cant figure out the issue... I have 2 computers. Main Computer and HTPC... I set up a home group and from the HTPC I can listen to music from the main computer... But If I try to watch a move from the HTPC with the media stored on the Main PC nothing happens in WMC... although I can go to WMP...
