BSODS while gaming

    Pffff.

    Slap ma arse and call me Shirley!

    It was the VBIOS.

    Sorry for wasting anyone's time. When I said I updated the BIOS I meant the MB. I didn't even know there was a BIOS for the f'n card!

    All fixed now lads.

    I backed up my VBIOS with GPU-Z
    I used hpflash1.rar and used win98.rar to create a bootable dos disk
    Put the updated flash on it using the 478.rar supplied by Sapphire
    Changed the BIOS to boot from USB drive
    Ran the flash and hey presto
