is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems so I suggest you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover
for your system. Download Microsoft Security Essentials
as its replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Remover
tool. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE

Go to Start and type in sysdm.cpl

Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings...
Ensure that Automatically restart
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB)
in the dropdown box.
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
