    Constant Crash in hibernation

    Hello all,
I recently rebuilt my Win 7 x64 laptop and it seems to be having two fairly serious issues. First, it crashes every night when I close my laptop. Second, Chrome seems to be not loading fully, or taking an extremely long time to load. (mostly just not loading the page until I refresh a few times...can't even load the attachemnets file for this site with it...) Attached is my diagnostics info, without the minidump, as I am getting an error that the event log doesn't exist....

Any insight or help is greatly appreciated....

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems so I suggest you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Remover tool. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start and type in sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box.
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

    still happening

I followed your instructions to a T. AVG is gone, MSE has replaced it. It shut down in hibernation once yesterday (after this was done), then again late last night, at 1:15 or so, my touchpad stopped working (first time since rebuild a month ago) then eventually the computer started making a beeping noise, mildly reminiscent of morse code, then it just shut down with no warning. Here is my log again....

Also, I changed the dump, as instructed, but the SF diagnostics tool will still not find it...

Thank you, again, for your help thus far....
