    BSOD on World of Warcraft

    Hi

I recently built my own computer and am having troubles with BSOD on World of warcraft. I have attached a zip folder of the required information. I believe it's a graphic card problem. My graphic card drivers are up to date. I have also been playing more demanding games (Crysis on max settings) and have not experienced this problem.

I'm not sure what to do next.

Hi ragerich and welcome to the forum.
Bugcheck FE, BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER. Usual causes: USB device driver.

Bugcheck 3B, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory.
One dump blames Windows system USB driver, which is unlikely to be the real cause and the other dump blames hardware. If you are overclocking your RAM or graphics card, please return to default values. Neither of the dumps indicates your graphics card was involved. Both indicate memory corruption.

I recommend that you uninstall AVG using this removal tool: Tool (64 bit). If you are using AVG Identity Protection, uninstall it with this removal tool, Tool. AVG is a known cause of conflicts and BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place.

I find one outdated driver on your system. Out of date drivers can cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Update this driver through the link provided.
    Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:13 2009 - Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC. Realtek.
Uninstall AVG and update the Realtek driver, reboot and see how your systems runs. Please post back and let us know. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

    Thanks

I overclocked my RAM, once I get home from college I will return it to its default settings. I uninstalled AVG and I upgraded my gigabyte drivers.

I will report back once I get home.

    Thanks for your help.

Thanks for reporting back, Richard. If your system is now stable with the updating of the driver and uninstalling AVG, you may not have to stop the RAM overclock.

Yeah the problems seemed to have stopped, so I won't bother returning the ram to default.

Thanks very much for your help, it has been much appreciated :)
