Thanks guys for all the help!

    Here's an update:

Uninstalled Zone Alarm, Avast and Spy Software.
Installed MSE and enabled windows firewall.

    Ran a registry cleanup.

    Still crashing every 30 minutes.

Pulled out 2 of the 6 ram sticks to decipher if it's at fault. So far no crashes. Bad ram may be the culprit for the sudden BSOD attacks. But I also think that the system is running better without all the 3rd party security software - I was prone to the odd crash before which was likely the software issues.

    Will see how it goes.

    Fingers crossed*

Multi sticks of RAM should be: Same make, model number, batch number, (CL) latency, speed etc. etc.. Also ideally bought as a full set at the same time as well because that would (should?? :) ) be how the manufacturer tested it.

Still hopefully you're now cured! The next thing was going to be to get you to run Memtest86 through all your Ram. You've probably saved a long weekend of your life!!
