Hello,
This forum has helped me in the past and I hope someone will analize the attached log file. The computer blue screens/(
Driver-IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) on boot.
1. I tried system restore and it seemed to restore, but did it again within moments and there were no restore points displayed.
2. I ran scannow until it was clean,
3. tried to uninstall norton on one sucessful safe boot
4. Ran chkdsk
see attached zip
Please help!
Certainly not a clean install
several problems
1-iastor.sys your storage driver is both very old and corrupt. It needs re-installation with the newest available.
2-A lot of old
drivers from as far back as 2005
these at least should be updated.

How To Find Drivers:
Quote:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
