I'm pretty sure Zone Alarm is the main cause for all of these. Please remove Zone Alarm completely and let us know the result

    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...cpes_clean.exe

    This driver is old:
    Code:
     ASACPI ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 20:30:36 2005 (42476C4C)
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 10th or 11th item down).
    Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

Ok. Did both. The date stamp still says 2005 though...

Hi Alipali, Have you still got the installer for the new asacpi?
    Try this:
Create a Restore Point, GoTo C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver(s) files and rename them from .sys to .old.
Run the installer for the new Asacpi file.

I did that. The computer crashed and is now locked on the ASUS opening screen when it rebooted.

How can I get it back to that restore point? The keyboard and mouse seem locked also.

The restore point I made doesn't show up on the system recovery options. Can I restore from command prompt or undo this file renaming:

Create a Restore Point, GoTo C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver(s) files and rename them from .sys to .old.

    HELP!!!

    Yeah, undo the file name.

Could do sfc /scannow as well to be sure.

Renamed it back to the original, though still getting the new features that came with the new driver??

Did a new scan and attached it if that's helpful...

    ASACPI.sys Thu May 14 02:25:17 2009 Good Job!!

Many third party security programs cause conflicts on some Win 7 systems, Microsoft Security Essentials is BSOD friendly. For now we should be removing the 3rd party securities until your BSOD's have been dealt with. You can then certainly revert to the Security programs of your choice.

Avast has been known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Uninstall Avast through Programs and Features then use the Avast ASW Clear Tool. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Make sure Windows firewall is enabled.

Uninstall SuperAntiSpyware through Programs and Features then use the SuperAntiSpyware SASUNINST Tool

    STOP 0x0000007F: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
    Usual causes:
Memory corruption, Hardware (memory in particular), Installing a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or a failure after installing it, 3rd party firewall, Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards, Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
    If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
            use .trap on that value
    Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
    Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.

    Hi Alipali!
fimble gave you good advise when telling you to uninstall 3rd party antivirus. Please install MSE since it is well known for BSODs free
I'm pretty certain that Zone Alarm is causing BSODs in your system. If you still want to use it, you might want to install this hot fix:
Stop error message when you run an application that transfers data by using the UDP protocol in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7: "STOP 0x0000007F"

That should fix the bug that is causing ZoneAlarm to crash. If you still get BSODs, remove ZoneAlarm

Follow the advises to update the driver, do the best you can

    Regard,

    Tuan
