    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000001, bitfield :
        bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002addcdc, address which referenced memory

The dump blames AtihdW76.sys, ATI HDMI Audio Driver. This driver is up to date as are all of his drivers. Something else may be conflicting with this driver.

If you are wanting us to analyze the dump, we will need more information on your brother's system. Have him read this tutorial and follow the instruction. We will be glad to help.

Thanks alot ! I'll do the instructions tomorrow...

Can AtihdW76.sys be a part of his graphic card ? It's an AMD Radeon HD 5770.

I will give more detail tomorrow...

For now, here is his setup :

    - Intel Core I5 760 Quad Core Processor Lynnfield LGA1156 2.8GHZ 8MB Cache Retail Box
    - ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA1156 P55 DDR3 USB3.0 SATA 6GB Motherboard
    - 2 * Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Hard Drive OEM
    - Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 860MHZ 1Gb 4.8GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI
    - 2 * G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ PC3-12800 2X2GB DDR3-1600 Memory Kit
    - Samsung SH-B083L 8X Blu-Ray BD-ROM & DVD Writer Combo Drive SATA 2MB Retail Box
    - Corsair TX650W 650W ATX 12V 52A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan

yeah the hdmi audio driver is part of the hd5770 driver package. It does not even need to be installed unless the he's using hdmi for both video and audio. I have a hd5850 but my monitor speakers suck so I never installed that part of the driver package. you actually have to tell it to install separately if memory serves. Basically if he has a audio card or integrated audio plugged into speakers separately. The system will operate fine without the hdmi audio part of the ati catalyst installed at all.

This one was memory_corruption caused by your video driver.

Replace your video driver using the below and test y our memory.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Can you read this please ?

This one was memory_corruption caused by your video driver.

Replace your video driver using the below and test y our memory.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Can you give me the full report please ?

I'll test his memory soon. Thanks !

For the graphic driver, I had format his C: drive and he installed a working driver of his card. So, he never had another driver installed.

    Is Windows 7 . . .
    - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
    - the original installed OS on the system? the first one to be installed
    - an OEM or full retail version? full retail version
    - OEM = came pre-installed on system
    - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer

    - What is the age of system (hardware)? 2 week
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 2 days
