Windows 7: Mouse & Keyboard suddenly stops working

Hi,

New to forums.

I have experienced this problem for a week or so now and can't find the answer on google.



I have Firefox and when I go into firefox I can press the middle button on my mouse to open a new tab. But when I left click any tab, the mouse does not work on left or right clicks, but the middle button does close a tab.

Once this has happened and I try to use the keyboard for navigation, I press the windows key, and the menu here flicks very fast between Shut Down & All Programs I can move this up witht eh arrow keys, but every other key does not work.

The only was round this is about 3 reboots.

Can anyone help me debug this?
