    If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
    * Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

    I'm not sure what happened, but I got the blue screen and my computer shut off. I had Google Chrome and Seesmic open and perhaps winamp but I can't remember. I may have had Microsoft Webmatrix open as well.

    My computer now will not restart except in safe mode. It did turn on for about 5 minutes once, but it crashed again. I had Seesmic and Chrome open, but Chrome was not working.

    Hi fbslp27

    There are a lot problem with your system, out of date drivers, virus (might be), 3rd party software.
    First of all, we gotta make your computer able to boot first. I doubt AVG is the cause for the problem that your computer can't boot up
    Please go to safe mode and disable the antivirus program AVG from starting up at start up, or you can just remove it completely out of your system (I like to remove more)
    If you want to remove, use this tool:
    AVG - Download tools
    If you want to disable it in BIOS, please press F8 upon start up, then go to safe mode, click Start-->RUN-->msconfig-->startup tab-->uncheck everything related to AVG

    Beside AVG, which I doubt to be the thing acting up your boot up, there are so many out of date drivers needed to be update:
    Code:
    fffff880`01200000 fffff880`01256000   adpahci  adpahci.sys  Tue May 01 11:30:09 2007 (46377921)
    fffff880`01256000 fffff880`01285000   adpu320  adpu320.sys  Tue Feb 27 18:04:15 2007 (45E4C6FF)
