ASACPI.sys the 2005 version is a huge cause of BSOD's

Quote:
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).
Code:
ASACPI.sys fffff880`047eb000 fffff880`047f3000 0x00008000 0x42476c4c 28/03/2005 06:30:36
Old version of Kaspersky, should be upgraded
Code:
kl1.sys fffff880`03ca8000 fffff880`041d1000 0x00529000 0x4a9d0591 01/09/2009 15:29:21
klbg.sys fffff880`015e1000 fffff880`015ef000 0x0000e000 0x4ad607d5 14/10/2009 21:18:13
klif.sys fffff880`02b02000 fffff880`02b5f000 0x0005d000 0x4b0e453f 26/11/2009 13:07:11
Remove current version and install latest(11.0.2.556b.a)

Thanks! I updated the driver and yeah, it is of 2009 right now. But:

a. The attachment is the dump of a second BSOD just before the update, please check it out
b. Kaspersky Pure is installed. Thus, the can't be some old stuff present. Right? (correct me if I am wrong)

You have an older version of Pure, install the latest

Code:
BugCheck 1E, {0, 0, 0, 0}

Probably caused by : memory_corruption

Followup: memory_corruption
Memory corruption was also the cause. Test your RAM
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

But, the one installed "9.0.0.0.192" seems to be the latest version after all. Maybe it is KS Labs who added these old dated files?

It is the latest but the system drivers are not automatically updated, this is why you should manually update it with the new installer
