I run Driver Sweeper, it attempts to update. After completing an update and rebooting itself WinUpdateHelper comes up that it crashed, with this in the sending box:
Code:
Description:
Stopped working
Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Users\Frank\AppData\Local\Temp\WER62E7.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml

Attempted to get rid of Realtek without updating Driver Sweeper, looks like everything is fine, PC reboots, I load it again after rebooting, still shows and I still get the same errors when trying to install the driver software. Windows also automatically tries to 'find' it and it says it failed.
It did however go from "unknown device"-> "audio device on high definition audio bus".
I'm back to getting the no driver supported in this driver package message too.
Edit: Should I be looking to those locations to uninstall? Delete folders/registry items manually?
