Windows 7 x64 - 2 BSOD Issues

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE ntoskrnl.exe
BSOD RDR_FILE_SYSTEM mrxsmb10.sys

I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 (Home premium came installed, upgraded to Pro via Anytime Upgrade) on a Gateway DX4831-07 Desktop Gaming PC - Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR3, 1TB HDD.

I recently installed a wired home network in addition to the wireless router and have a NAS attached to the network for file backup/sync between my desktop/laptop. I work directly from the NAS on the desktop for all of my personal/work files.

The RDR_FILE_SYSTEM BSOD occurs primarily when I'm working using files served from the NAS via a mapped drive. I'll be using the open/save explorer browser and the system will suddenly crash. This is becoming a fairly constant, and annoying occurrence.

The DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE has only occurred twice, and I haven't been around when it occurred. I'm assuming that it was when the unit was going into sleep/hibernation from idle, but I can't be sure.

I've attached the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 and perfmon/report in a zip.

Please help, and thanks in advance!

Hi ignisbellator and Welcome.

Majority:
STOP 0x00000027: RDR_FILE_SYSTEM (go to top of page)
Usual causes:
Insufficient physical memory, Indexing, Device driver
Latest:
STOP 0x0000009F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (go to top of page)
Usual causes:
Device driver
[/b]

Your latest dump file blames pci.sys which is a Windows System file and is highly unlikely to be the cause.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

Thanks so much, this really has been wearing at my patience - especially when trying to get work done.

I'm downloading the updates now and will keep you posted on how my system is running after I get everything up-to-date.

If it is a driver that's causing the problem, I reckon these two will be having the biggest influence:

e1k62x64.sys Thu Sep 24 01:11:00 2009 Intel Ethernet

iaStor.sys Tue Oct 13 19:15:56 2009 Intel Rapid Storage.

Hi, I need help please. Wwe seem to have a similar issue as seen here...can you please have a look at the attached dump files.
From days of troubleshooting, we've updated intel drivers for display and Nic, installed the hotfix kb2584874 and had a 2 day break without a BSOD but it has come back today.
Using bleuscreenviewer shows this...

''A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file: mrxsmb10.sys

RDR_FILE_SYSTEM

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

.......

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x00000027 (0x00000000baad0073, 0xfffff88007020e38, 0xfffff88007020690,
0xfffff880055b50fa)

*** mrxsmb10.sys - Address 0xfffff880055b50fa base at 0xfffff88005572000 DateStamp
0x4e17c104''

and Windows SDK shows gives this though with symbol yet to be set....
