Thanks Ken & Carl. I tried this in Safe Mode and it let me change some and not others.

It would not let me change any of the files in c:\windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository\.... or in c:windows\winsxs\amd64......

I have had a couple of crashes this week (before making the change) but will see if this change helps.

Did you know that Intel detected a bug on its GMA965 chipset.
This bug causes memory corruption on some intensive operations, and can cause very infrequent blue screens (BSOD).
