    Screen dump of programs

Here is a screen dump of the programs. There are only a handful that I have installed personally.

    Booksmart
    Family Trees Q&E
    Gmail POP trouble shooter
    Image resizer
    Key Blaze Typing Tutor
    Mozilla Firefox
    Zone Alarm

I have uninstalled AVG and cleaned up.

Uninstall ZoneAlarm and use Microsoft Security Essentials as replacement: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
    OR
Try this Microsoft hotfix if you wish to keep ZoneAlarm: Stop Error 0x07F when you run applications that transfer data using the UDP protocol in Win Server 2008 R2/Win 7" which I can neither verify or discount. It may work, it may not.

Thanks for all your help. I have my fingers crossed. Haven't had a crash for awhile now. I will uninstall Zone Alarm and revert to Microsoft Products. Does this mean I should turn on my Windows firewall.

    Thanks heaps

Hi Dean - well I just edited a whole chapter of a thesis and my computer hasn't crashed with the BSOD.

Thanks very much for your help. One last question - why does this sort of crash start happening after a reasonable period of trouble-free use (with the programs that I have subsequently uninstalled)?
