IRQL EQUAL TO OR LESS constantly on startup(SOLVED)
Hey guys,
Ok here is my problem. I have a custom built pc that is a year old. It has been working fine until today. I had just downloaded a video file and opened it. It was using windows media player and the video did not start playing and instead a screen popped up saying I need to gain access rights to view this video. I clicked ok and then BAM my computer restarted.
Then when it restarted... about 30 seconds later after startup the BSOD screen popped up IRQL EQUAL TO OR LESS and I have been unable to load windows in normal mode without the BSOD popping up almost immediately on startup. In technical information either it says STOP: 0x0000000A or 0x0000003b I am currently in safe mode and it has worked fine in safe mode. The only thing I have tried so far is downloaded a driver updater and fix program called driver checker and the only thing it found was a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E gigabyte internet NIC (NDIS 6.2) driver that is either out of date or corrupt but it doesnt seem to be able to install it. Interestingly the driver version i have starts off with 7.1 but this program is trying to install a driver version that starts with 6.2.
I have attached the dump file but could not run the perfmon/report as nothing came up when i searched for this. When i simply type perfmon something comes up but I couldnt figure out where to run a report.
Here are my system specs just in case it helps.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Intel core i5 750
4gb DDR3 ram
Any help would be appreciated. keep in mind i can only use the computer in safe mode currently.
Thank you.
