    Windows boots up in classic theme, internet wont work


    Hi,

    Since about 3 days now my pc (windows 7 ultimate x64) has stopped working..
    It will bootup normally, but when i log in to my account, the theme will be classic, the internet connection has gone walkabout and the computer won't run or open up any programs, like call of duty.. To make matters worse, system recovery wont work, says something about volume shadow copy, and if i turn that on, all my restore points are gone (i haven't made a backup yet). Not even malwarebytes has been able to fix the problem, so either this is a really evil virus or it's something else, but it totally ruined my PC

    please, i really need some help with this one!!

    I've been having the exact same problems, and I have yet to find a solution anywhere. If anyone has any possible fixes, they would be nice.

    Please try:
    Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
    To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
    SFC /SCANNOW

    Read here for more information SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    If needed, you can try this in Safe Mode.
