Don't use MSI Afterburner but I did throw MSI Kombustor at it, give it some welly. BSOD in no time.

Then like a utter rookie, I never considered my slight CPU overclock. Removed that, ran Kombustor again for an hour and not a single issue.

Could it be that simple? Crikey.

Three hours of Kombustor, non stop. Both cards screaming for the whole time at full load. No issues whatsoever. Hmm

Yes for future reference if you are overclocked and experience a problem, first step... remove the clock. Even if it passed 100 hours of stress testing. 90% of a time a problem on a overclocked system is caused by the overclock. I've never personally gotten a large enough performance increase from clocking to justify shortening the lifespan of my components and voiding warranties. Sure the benchmarks look better, but I have never noticed a significant difference in games, or apps.

    Hi Arthur.
You're getting 0x116 again. (you gathered that!)
The servers are running slow again so Debug analysis is a bit of a waiting game. In the meantine:

MSI Afterburner. Do you use this? Its been known to cause issues with Windows 7. As it's related to graphics I'd suggest uninstalling. See if it makes a difference.

Bonjour service. You can set this to manual instead of auto start. Why is it on your PC? Adobe? QuickTime? Apple i products?
Bonjour Service is required for Apple Software.

Yeah, unfortunately I am blighted with iTunes as I have an iPhone.

    PC still stable.

I asked about the Bonjour because its "essential" for Adobe. I have no Apple so cannot comment but whenever I install my Adobe stuff, Bonjour gets uninstalled faster than it can install itself. Never had a problem with my Adobe set up.

Still no BSOD since downclocking CPU to 3.6Ghz. Interesting.

As I suggested above, any time you encounter a problem when overclocked, assume the problem is a result of the clock. The testing apps generally just stress test, they don't take into account all the little things that will go through there.

Aaaaaan still going strong. lol An hour of Crysis, an hour of Test Drive 2 ontop. A few cold boots inbetween just to shake it up and it's alive... it's alive.

Better ram arriving tomorrow, so I will probably see you back on here then. LOL
