No dmp file created when crashing ???

I have been having random freezes for a year + now ( random freeze where only could reset ) and friend asked me to set advanced start up and recovery settings to create a small memory dump file which I could then email him or send via some messenger program.
My problem is ... it doesn't create any file in minidump folder at all , nothing after each crash.
    Can anyone help me ???
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello...

       Information
    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

    Hello there.
That is my point ... There are 3 old minidump files in that folder ... But no new one is being created every crash ( which can happen 3 times within 24 hours or take up to 6 days at a time ) despite options being set properly in start up and recovery settings options ....

There are 3 older mini dump files in minidump ( from 2009 and 2010 though ) so I know it should create them.
