    Please wait......

Started up Windows today. The screen "Please wait" came up and never went away. So I did a restart and screen windows did not shut down correctly came up, hit start windows normally and everything is fine. Didn't do any updates recently either. Just want to know if there is something going on as far as a problem waiting to happen down the road soon. Thanks.

This happens from time to time with me, ignore it and if it occurs again hit f8 and boot into safe mode.

Apparently it may be due to RAM , or some corrupted Startup entry . As it is running ok now, you may run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker . If there is any problem , it will resolve it automatically . [At the same time it will undo all your customizations, too].

If it occurs again , and stay forever ..... you are to run Startup Repair , or sometimes it is required to Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times .
