Right click and click delete?

What type of folder are you trying to delete??? (System files? Personal Documents?)
You may be running that folder - close the window and try delete it again.

If problem persists, try the posts below.

It could be down to security...Try the following
  1. Right-Click the folder & select 'Properties' then the 'Security' Tab
  2. Click 'Advanced' then the 'Owner' tab
  3. Click 'Edit' followed by 'Other users or groups'
  4. Type everyone into the box and click OK
  5. Check the 'Replace owner on subcontainers and objects' box then click ok

Now click OK thru the previous screens and try deleting the folder again
