    Control panel is empty

Ok, i installed Nokia software updater to update my phone, and while installing, firewall asked me if i should allow it, weird as it never asked me for any other programs, it was the first time firewall did such thing.

So once i updated my phone, i decided to uninstall the nokia software, then i had to reboot my computer, when it was shutting down, it installed some updates.

So then, i got an error after boot (see attachement).

Then i went to control panel and no programs were listed there. The system restore thing was disabled and there are no restore points. The error i posted is of my virus software

Re CP empty.Have you tried deleting the CP prefetch file CONTROL.EXE-817F8F1D.pf in C:\Windows\Prefetch?
