I am a bit illiterate with fixing and reading the other forums/people who have similar problems. I tried to follow the posting instructions. Please help.

I use a Dell Inspiron E1505 (Summer 2006 - almost 5 years old) with Windows 7 Professional. System type: 32-bit OS. Installed memory: 1.00GB . The Windows 7 was just installed in January 2009.

**I cannot get the Perfmon HTML to upload despite following instructions...the report is up and I saved it as an HTML doc but when I try to upload it, it says invalid upload

On the surface it appears to be a bad driver. Give me a little time and I'll edit back here with more info after I've looked over the driver dump.

If you aren't actively using it, I would disable/ physically remove the Conexant modem. They never released proper win 7 drivers for it.

Also I would try disabling/removing any antivirus or firewall apps you are running atm just for troubleshooting purposes.

The crashes do seem related to your net drivers/device and those applications can sometimes interfere.

I am currently doing the intel updating....i downloaded the ICS_Ds32.exe

It finished downloading...is it supposed to do something after?

What exactly is the modem process you are talking about?

It would be a dial up modem.
Since you have a laptop it would probably be easiest just to disable the item in the device manager, accessed via system in the control panel.

I'm surprised it's running at all, considering win 7 support from dell for your model doesn't exist.

Just disabled the modem.

Overall: I disabled the modem and updated the Intel driver. (that was all the main things I needed to do right?)

I am going to restart my computer. I hope all is fixed now! (I am sure I will be back if it isn't - but I am confidant in your instructions)

I hope this solves the problem, you may now clear out the minidumps, just so if you get another bsod, you will only be dealing with the newest ones, we already have the originals attached to your first post.

If the problem continues don't hesitate to post.
