| | programs stop responding or wont open- Windows 7 x64 Hi, I recently purchased windows 7 x64 professional to run as a dual boot OS on my new imac, which has an i3 processor and 4gb ram. every thing seem to be fine until the computer has been on for a few hours or if it is left idle for a while. programs refuse to start, or already open programs stop responding. the only thing it aloows me to do is go to start menu/shutdown. i have performed a complete format of my HD and re-installed windows. I'm pretty sure the fact i'm running it on an imac is not an issue, as i have read posts from people having the same problem running windows pc's. all my hardware drivers are up to date. i have scanned and fixed any registry problems. please help, para2k7 |
