a. No system specs - fill in your system specs.
b. Not enough detail for your problem/story.
c. Are you sure it is freezing? It could be unresponsive (program not responding).

Need more info in your system specs. Did you recently install Win7? Is it a new machine? I had the same problem and it turned out to be a bad motherboard (brand new) but you really need to give us more information in your system specs.

PC randomly freezes which forces me to hold the power button.
I've got this problem for a while now. Sometimes, out of nowhere my whole computer crashes. And sometimes it doesn't even start up. I've attached one of the latest dumps, the only crash that generated a dump because it's a freeze, not a BSOD or a crash.

Computer freezes while using, must shut power off
Hello and thank you for your time. Recently my computer started freezing at random times during use and the cursor wouldn't move at all. Ctrl/Alt/Delete didn't work either. So I'd have to shut the power off, and restart. Got worse, so I had my friend wipe everything clean and start over. Only 3...
