Audio will skip/pop/lag

    Audio will skip/pop/lag


    Hello I recently installed windows 7 x64 service pack one, And now my audio is all laggy and stuff. Does anyone know why this is happening? Here are my computer specs


    System Manufacturer/Model Number Hewlett-Packard
    OS Home Premium x64
    CPU Hewlett-Packard
    Motherboard Not sure
    Memory DDR2 6144 MB
    Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series
    Sound Card IDT HD Audio Codec
    Monitor(s) Displays 2

    Files were probably fragmented.
    You may want to try a disk defragment.

    Try reinstalling your audio driver.

    I tryed de-fragmenting and reinstalling my audio driver, BUT its still laggy.
