BIOS update failure

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help with this frustrating issue.

Basically I was updating the BIOS on an alienware area 51 alx (specifically A08 - A10).
During the update the pc blue-screened, the update was done in Windows and not via a boot disk/command prompt...something i'm now regretting.
Upon reboot it is now stuck in a loop, doesn't even get as far as its post checks, it just powers up for 30 seconds or so then shuts down and begins again.

If anyone has any ideas it would be hugely appreciated.

Try removing the CMOS battery for 30 seconds.

I've now tried removing the cmos battery and putting it back in after 30 seconds, this didn't have any effect.

I have also tried clearing cmos settings using the jumper but this also didn't work.

Problems with Nvidia gpu post BIOS system BIOS update.

Dell BIOS nag screens after harddrive failure
Apologies, I'm not very good with tech speak. I had a single OEM Seagate Barracuda SATA harddrive that failed while playing Skyrim. I ran checkdisk and it reported 5 bad clusters. It said it couldn't repair an active partition unless I rebooted, which I did. The damage apparently kept the drive...

I was trying to install a SSD on a friends laptop and transfer the Windows 7. This laptop had been used for several years but never moved off the desk. I transferred the OS to the SSD, then we turned it around and switched the disks in the bay (HDD out, SSD in). When we restarted the laptop, we...

Disk boot failure, HDD not seen in BIOS
Hi there, This problem originally started about a month ago, with the odd crash (mouse would go 'jittery/laggy' and then eventually freeze - at which point it would sometimes BSOD and other times just restart). Then when I went to restart it would come up with this disk boot failure. At this ...
