    Hello XRL, welcome.

Seven recommends having 2 gigs, so it should be fine. Are you using x64?

    Hi and welcome to sevenforums.
Could we get all the info about your computer, and if it was a clean install or upgrade. what error codes do the crashes give you?

    Waiting on info

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

There should not be any issue running x64 on 2GB but i would advise you try x86 to see if that has any better results.

    thx :)

im right now using x64 and having small issues yes, not big ones its more like when you do something program hangs for about 2-3 seconds "not responding" and after that all is fine for alittle while the problem come time to time doing nothing special.

had no problems on 32bit windows 7.

    Dell dimension 9200
    Geforce 8800 GTX
    Intel duro2 E6600
    2gig memory pc5300 dual channel
Intel P965 chipset with integrated audio, network

after all troubleshooting and health reports i found out
one problem: Device manager one item there is called "unknown device"
and when i try repair it with the help of windows it says

This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between your computer's Away Mode System and your 64-bit version of Windows. The Away Mode System is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows.
This problem is not critical, but you can prevent it from occurring again by disabling the Away Mode System in your computer's BIOS. Refer to the instructions that came with your computer that explain how to access the BIOS and turn off Away Mode System support.

and since i have dell and cant change much in bios i dont find this
