    BS Ho and welcome

A comman occurance in HP's these were all caused by your hpdskflt.sys file or hpdskflt.sys is a driver for the onboard mobile data protection sensor. In other words the accelerometer.

You can re-install and wait for it to happen or disable the accelerometer if not used. I am unsure of the warranty ramifications.

    Figured it out

Thank you for the reply. After many tries it is fixed.

Here are some things I found out.

    1. If you remove the HP 3D DriveGuard program from the control panel. The hpdskflt.sys driver remains therefore the problem doesn't go away.
    2. After uninstalling the program, It will not show up as a service.
    3. The only way to remove this file is by the Device Manager. Under System the device will be listed under HP 3D DriveGuard. Right click and select uninstall and check the box the remove device software.
    4. Once uninstalled my BSOD on shutdown went away.
    5. In addition my system restore issue was also fixed.

Thank you so much for you help!

Glad to hear it...thanks for that detailed report! Now those of us without HP machines know how to remove that driver.
