Fresh install on a Corsair F80 SSD. Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. When I walk away from PC for a while and comeback to bring it out of hibernation, it'll Blue Screen on me and reboot. Please help me identify the problem. By the ways, it'll happen to me just about 8 times out of 10.
Thanks in advanced,
Richard

ASACPI.sys the 2005 version is a huge cause of BSOD's
Quote:
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005)
Well installed and verified the "ASACPI.sys" was installed properly and up to date. Secondary, Installed the lastest MCP for my B-board and even to make double sure, I installed nVidia's active X tool to check and make sure I was update, in which I was. I ran a chkdsk, and it came back with no errors. I'm still getting BS's only out of hibernation. Any other options or idea's?
Well I've ditched the SSD's, replaced my motherboard, cpu, mem, video card, power supply, and sound card. Only thing I didn't pleace was my case. No problems so far, just an update. Thanks again.
