    windows 7 x64 Sp1 update error 0x8007000d


    I'm not able to install windows 7 SP1. I even reinstalled windows but not gain, Please help.

    Hello,
    Please copy the file "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log" to your document folder and then zip that CBS.log to a .rar or .zip file. Then upload it here using the paper-clip icon.

    I have attached two files, one is with the name of 'CBS - Fresh install.zip' is the log file from a fresh windows install on which I haven't installed anything, and the other one with the name of 'CBS.zip' is from the windows I had installed 2 days back, and had installed some programs on it.

    Try this if you are getting an error code of 0x8007000d on activation

    Error code 0x8007000D when trying to activate a Windows server 2008 or Windows 7 machine using any type of product key.
