    Crash but not a crash?

So i just turned my PC on this morning opened up a youtube video and WoW after a few minutes of playing my whole computer just froze up coulnt ctrl alt delete out, it did not restart the first time i hit the reset button only on the second one and when i got back into windows and looked for a dump file there was none from this morning.

    What does this mean?
Also cannot install SP1 once i try and restart my computer and it tries to configure the update it gets to 87-95% completed and the says "update failed restoring computer" I had an error the very first time it didnt work but that error wont show up again

The two most likely issues causing a problem with a Service Pack are:
    - malware
    - outdated drivers

I'd suggest trying one of these free scans: Free Online AntiMalware Scanners
If infected, please post over in the Security forums

Then, please visit the manufacturer's website and get all the updated drivers
Then visit Windows Update and make sure that you have all the prerequisite updates for SP1.
    Then try installing SP1.

If that doesn't work, then please submit this info so we can get an idea of what's happening in your system (even though you're not having BSOD's): https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html
