    My Computer Freezes After Sometime

    Good day!

Currently, I have been experiencing a BSOD which contains a problem like "An attempt was made to execute non-executable memory" and I got rid of that by reformatting or reinstalling my OS. But now, my computer seems to be acting strange. It freezes sometime after boot up, like the mouse will not move and etc, and i need to shut down it forcibly. But sometimes it wont turn on, like the power light is only on and no beep sound that indicates that the system will boot up successfully. And there are other times that it will shut down or restart automatically and wont successfully boot up just as stated in the previous statement.

I am just wondering if anyone out there can help me solve my recent problem. And much better if you can also help me avoid my old problem for it might come back again. And if you need to know my system information just tell me.

PS: Currently, I am running in safe mode and hope that you might help me immediately.

    Thank you in advance.

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Scanners (read the details at the link)

    ADDITIONAL PROBLEM:

I met another BSOD - Memory_Management. Are the diagnostics that you stated compatible with this problem? I will try those anyway.

PS: It seems that these diagnostics are not easy for me to understand. It is better if you could post a simpler help.

    Thanks in advance.

I do 4 things at work before I start fixing a system:
    - a hard drive test
    - a memory test
    - a generic system test (PCCheck by Eurosoft - about $400 US)
    - a test for malware

FYI - here's a description of the first error that you described: BSOD Index - STOP 0xFC
and here's one of the second error: BSOD Index - STOP 0x1A

The key description here is that you reformatted your system and still have problems. If done properly, the system should work fine if it was a software problem. Since it's not working fine, then the most likely issue is a hardware problem (although compatibility and malware can cause similar issues even after a format).

To run the diagnostics, please follow the directions step-by-step. They may appear complicated, but they are necessary in order to figure out where the problem lies. If you have questions at any particular step, please post back and ask for clarification of that step.

    Good day!
A technician was sent to our house to check the computer and he told me to maximize the computer usage for 4 hours only because the processor might burn. I research about overheating processors and these also give BSOD and freezing problems. So is there an alternative way to avoid overheating without the "4 hours" rule?? And by the way, i took to cover off from the system unit and positioned a steady fan to it.

    Thanks in advance.

What kind of temps are you getting from your CPU? Try using Speed Fan to see what the temps are. Also, how many case fans do you have on your computer? Is your heatsink filled with dust? Try using a can of air to blow out the dust. Your computer should be able to run more than 4 hours at a time. That's ridiculous.

If you mean how many fans in it, only one. Then I dont know which one is the heatsink here. Yeah, its really ridiculous.

Here are the results for the SpeedFan:
    Fan1: 1278 RPM
    GPU: 0C
    Temp1: 24-25C
    Temp2: 31C
    Temp3: -49C
    HD0: 34C
    Temp1: 23C
    Core 0: 31C
    Core 1: 28C

Those temps seem pretty normal. Leave it running while you use your computer and monitor them. If they start to get really high you should shut down your computer and then report here. If while its running and your computer shuts off and the temps weren't hot, then you can rule out the temperature issue.

    Temp2: 31C
    Temp3: -43C
    HD0: 34C
    Temp1: 23C
    (√)Core 0: 39C
    Core 1: 35C
