    Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error BSOD

    Hello,
I know this has been posted a lot, but I've been getting a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR every once in a while when I'm installing a program or even installing windows updates.

attached is the information asked for in the rules post.

Please uninstall Daemon Tools, then use this free tool to uninstall the problematic sptd.sys driver: DuplexSecure - FAQ - Remove 64 bit sptd.sys
This is most likely the cause of the BSOD's

I never thought daemon tools would cause a blue screen. o.O and I've installed all updates on my HP website for my laptop.

The last memory dump we analyzed here was from 8 Mar 2011, these 3 dumps are from late May 2011 - were there any in-between this time?

DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware
These errors seem to point to disk hardware errors, so I'd suggest the following:
    - The FIRST THING is to backup anything that you can't afford to lose. The dump files suggest an impending hard drive failure, so the backup is the most important thing. The more you use the system, the more likely the hard drive will fail on you.

Then perform these free diagnostics. Obviously the hard drive test is the most important one, but since you're using a RAM drive, the memory test is also important:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Scanners (read the details at the link)
Alcohol 120% uses the same troublesome driver as Daemon Tools. Please uninstall the program and then use the free sptd.sys removal tool that was mentioned before.

OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
    - Create a System Restore Point prior to doing any of this. DO NOT mess with the drivers themselves - leave the Windows\System32\drivers directory alone unless we specifically direct you to it!
    - Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall them from your system. Reference links are included below.
    - DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
    - Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.

Most important (at this point) is that you have a set of recovery disks.
Before removing the hard drive you must either make them (if possible) or order a set from HP ( Order Recovery Discs (USA) )

It's most likely that you have a 2╜" SATA hard drive in your system. Let us know when you've got the other tests done (and gathered the required materials) - and then we'll move on to replacing the hard drive.
