PC reboots, trackable?

Hi!

I've got a question.

When I run stresstests for my computer (Intel Burn Test, stresses CPU and RAM) my computer will reboot. No BSoD and no Error what so ever, just a regular reboot.

Can this be tracked in some kind of dumpfile or event viewer?

In that case I'd like to upload the desired file to solve this.

It is not heat related on the CPU because my temps are fine.

in the event viewer you cant technically see that it shut down but you can see events that happen right before and right after. Event ID 6005 is the event tracker started recording, and Event ID 6006 is the event tracker stopped.

Thanks but I could only find the event that stated that I booted, no event that shown the shutdown/reboot of the computer.

My PC restarts and I'd like to find the cause of this.

Gotcha, so of u can't find the shutdown event it sounds like it probably wasn't a software shutdown. As some like to say you didn't shut down "gracefully" letting the computer close It's files and such. It was unexpected.

Did you say the computer does this while ur using the machine?
Try to reboot it yourself and see if the event shows up then for shutdown.

Im a overclocker and it's probably because of that.

But no one has any clue of what it could be (not anyone on any overclocker forum) and therefore I thought if I could track it I might solve it, but doesnt look like that =(
