Installing new RAM causing all kinds of oddities.

I just put in 8 gigs of RAM in my PC and it seems to be causing all kinds of crashes. Mostly it locks up after about 5-10 min with all 4 sticks in and it takes upwards of an hour for it to crash with only 4 gigs in. Due to the crashing I can't complete a test in memtest to get more specific details. I have tried upping the power to the RAM and all the timings are set to what it says on the box. The RAM is also withing the limits of my motherboard, I checked before buying and I am running win7 x64. Anyone have any ideas?

i'd try 1 stick at a time so you can see if any of the sticks are bad.

I have tested them, the problems only seem to arise as more RAM is added.

maybe you motherboard then. one of the ports maybe bad .

Sadly I have tested all the ports and they work as well. For some reason Windows just doesn't want to accept more than two gigs of RAM. With only two gigs everything is fine but after that the crashes happen faster and faster as more ram is added.

I have the latest bios for my motherboard (GA-P43-ES3G). I can't tell wether it is the problem or if it's Windows but I have discovered that 2 gigs is the only stable amount of RAM my PC will run with. Turning off "No-Execute Memory Protect" in the bios made it last longer with all 8 gigs in but it still crashed eventually.

Yes they are all identical.
