    BSOD, Help is appreciated.

So ever since I purchased my computer I've been getting BSODs every so often. They seem to happen mostly when I'm playing games, but It has happened when performing everyday tasks like web browsing. They are fairly common, but they don't happen everyday.

My computer is custom made and was purchased in late February 2011.

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
    MSI NF980-G65 SLI ATX Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition
    8GB Patriot Sector 7 DDR3 Memory
Nvidia GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II
    Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA2 HDD
    LG DVDRW Optical Drive

    Attachment 143089
    Attachment 143090

Can I get some help? It would be much appreciated.

EDIT: Please note that the System Health Report says that I don't have any Anti Virus software. That is not true however, I am using Norton Antivirus.

I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Scanners (read the details at the link)
Also, since Norton is involved, try this:
    Anti-Virus Removal:
    Please do the following:
    - download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
    - uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
    - remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://service1.symantec.com/Support...05033108162039
    - IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus
    - check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
I fully expect Norton to be the problem here, but if it's not - please post back and we'll run Driver Verifier with some special instructions.

OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
    - Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall/remove them from your system. Reference links included below.
    - DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
    - Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
    - Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers:

Okay I have MSE installed now and Norton is gone, ill let you know how my progress goes. However, I have put memtest on a USB Drive, but I don't know how to boot it because my computer is custom made, and the link doesn't specify. Any ideas on how I might go about booting it?

    Hello,

Check in the BIOS setup program for a "boot" tab; change the USB drive to be the first to boot.

Alternatively, you can open the "popup boot menu"; that's activated by pressing a key during the POST, usually F11 or F12. It's possible it's disabled in the BIOS, so if you don't see it, check the BIOS setup program.

Sorry for the late reply. I uninstalled norton and I had a good run without a blue screen but I just got one now :\

My motherboard is an MSI NF980-G65. If you want, we can run driver verifier like you said.

I have figured out how to boot from the USB and ran Memtest. My system passed the test so the memory is definitely not the problem. Hmmm...
