Windows 7 lapotop not reading hard disk

I just bought this laptop about a month ago and everything worked fine until one day when i turned it on and it said NO HARD DISK. I didnt do anything different than i had done since i got the laptop and i hadnt downloaded anything. I tried to restart it, run system checks, and do a system recovery but nothing works. After playing with it for a while i got it to load up to a blue screen and then it just stopped. Loading would just end at a blank blue screen. Ive gone through some troubleshooting steps from the microsoft website and it said to look at my hard disk. So i looked my hard disk and the connection to the motherboard and everything seems fine. What can i do? One minute it'll say no hard disk found and then if i restart it, it might boot up until you get to a blue screen right before you would log in. Can someone help me please?
