BSOD ks.sys from Win7 SP1 Install
I am running Win7 Ultimate x64 on a Core i7 system I built about 4 months ago. Everything was perfect until I installed SP1, which was about a month ago. The install completed, but the next time I rebooted, I got a BSOD on ks.sys. The BSOD occurred on every boot. Through a process of elimination, I determined it was my Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000. When I unplugged it, the PC booted fine. When I plug it back in, I get the BSOD. Today I uninstalled the Logitech Webcam program from the Control panel. I went to the Logitech website (which, by the way, has no information regarding this crash) and downloaded the latest driver and installed it. Logitech does not offer a 64-bit version of the software. Most of the way through the instal I got the BSOD on ks.sys. I unplugged the webcam and the system rebooted fine.
Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait until Logitech gets its act together? Thanks.
