BSOD can happen at any time, hard to restart

It's a brand new ACER desktop, just a few weeks old. Numerous crashes can happen at any time and for no apparent reason. Physical memory dumps usually fail. Twice it didn't (see attached folder).

System repair isn't much help. Windows can't check for memory problems. Half the time the repair disk can't even locate the Windows program. Don't have a Windows 7 disc as it came already installed on computer.

Any help would be massively appreciated. Please let me know what else I can include.

    Thankyou
      My Computer

I see you've only uploaded the dumps. We need the full report. Follow the instructions from the link below.
    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

The two dumps you uploaded show hard disk errors.

    Please run these tests:

    1. Hard disk check with Seatools
    2. CHKDSK - Disk Check

Report back your results and we will continue from there.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

My reply would have been quicker but my computer crashed twice while I was trying to figure out how to run the system health report. I figured I'd better attach the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 folder while I have the chance.

There is no new BSOD minidump. Please perform those two hard drive tests like I suggested. If you can't get them to run in normal mode try it in safe mode.

Attached are the files you need. Thanks. Still trying to do the checks (which isn't easy with all the crashes that are occurring!)

I did the disk check and it says it "found no problems."

I am trying to do the SeaTools part. I downloaded the file but I can't seem to burn the image/file onto a disk.

This new computer has Nero Express Essentials and when I click burn it brings up another window that asks where to save it. When I choose D: it instantly says it's done but really it just creates a temporary file that is "waiting to be burned".

Sorry, I've never used this program before and none of the online tutorials cover "Nero Express Essentials". Can you tell me how to get this thing to work?

Did some looking around online and it seems other people can't get past the "item waiting to be burned" issue and actually get it to burn. Chalk it up as another problem.

I don't have Roxio on this new computer. Is there some other way to do this? What exactly does the SeaTools program do?

You can use MagicISO to burn it to a disk.
MagicISO - Convert BIN to ISO, Create, Edit, Burn, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter/extractor/editor

"SeaTools is a comprehensive, easy-to-use diagnostic tool that helps you quickly determine the condition of the disk drive in your external hard drive, desktop or laptop computer. It includes several tests that will examine the physical media on your Seagate or Maxtor disk drive and any other non-Seagate disk drive."
