BSOD's every time I start computer 2-6x then works

    Required info:

    System info:
    Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Service Pack 1
It is a fresh install as of March 7th, previously had reinstalled in Feb but got these errors so tried to reinstall in March, then a week ago I started getting errors again
Version of Windows: Retail (I built the computer in 2009)
Age of system: 2009 parts, but from 2009 to Feb 2011, never had this issue once
Reinstalled Feb 2011 and started having issues

Attached is the BSOD information and system health report. Please note I turned on Driver Verifier and restarted prior to the health report, so it may not be accurate (with verifier on the system seems a tad unresponsive). If you need me to turn off the verifier please let me know and I will and repost a new health report with it off. I do use Comodo Antivirus, but Windows does not recognize it. LOL...

Here is the weird part: The system never BSOD's except when I restart/start the computer. However, then I can experience multiple attempts to log into Windows before finally getting in. I haven't had a BSOD once I have been in Windows more than 30 seconds.

I go to turn the computer on in the morning, and usually this is what happens:

The computer either hangs at the boot screen (the pre-bios screen), in which case I press reset. Then, the computer will usually boot to the logon screen, where it may BSOD right then, or after I type my user pass and press enter, or shortly after logging in (usually it's before I log).

I tried reverting to the original NVIDIA drivers, and used the Driver Sweeper meant for NVIDIA files to do so, with no luck.

I am new to bug checking and dumps. I am trying to install the Windows Software Development Kit, but it seems to be doing nothing, just sitting there "preparing to install".

One of the frequent BSOD's I get is "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". Sometimes it says it is a system service problem.

This is a system I had built in 2009, and up until I installed a fresh install of Windows in February, I had no issues with it, so I am not sure why on Earth I am having problems. I reinstalled because I was repartitioning the hard drive so I figured I would just reinstall anyway. Bad idea I suppose.

I do animal rescue and have been busy with that so I have been letting this problem go, but when I need to get on the computer, and I can't, it's bad because I need the info ASAP for certain cases, and also must use Skype for some people to be able to communicate with me. Sometimes I have to fight with the computer for 10 minutes before I can get in. I'm realizing I can't really leave the system this way anymore. I tried to reinstall and that did not do anything...well, okay, it was good for maybe a week, then it started again.

You saitek device is out of date, it needs new drivers, these are pre win 7.
Download drivers and software for Saitek products

More appropriate to your troubles, the raid driver you are using is also horribly out of date.

    Is also pre win 7.

Your problem seems to be you are running a large number of pre win7 components and the drivers aren't loading properly. oops found another one

I'm honestly surprised it's working at all with so many device drivers out of date.

Thank you. I can try to find newer drivers, and will, but like I said, everything was working perfectly even when I reinstalled in February when I repartitioned. So basically all those drivers worked from the time that Windows 7 came out, til Feb. 2011. I will update them though and see what happens.

I'm not sure I will be able to get any new drivers as far as my motherboard/RAID is concerned because ABIT is out of business but I will see what I can find :)

Well barring that it's likely you have a failing hard drive, I thought we would get the software issues out of the way first.

No problem :) Also I didn't realize the Jmicron was something different than the motherboard manufacturer (well, I knew that but didn't really think about it til I reread your post). Thank you for pointing me to the driver site. I'm installing the new drivers now.

Do you know if it's a failing hard drive, if it would be fine for the first week or two of running a new Windows, and then start causing the issues? I've never actually had a hard drive die on me, but I did get a backup drive recently, though it's not actually plugged in yet (but I did format it). Of course that question is probably impossible to answer. I'm just at a loss lol.

I did turn off the Driver Verification in windows so that I can work without constant crashes lol. I'll repost when I get the driver situation resolved.

well driver verifier is basically supposed to cause crashes, it's primary job is to generate error reports and minidumps for review by a debugger.

It could actually be your whole problem, it doesn't NEED to be on.
Checking the hard drive is easy enough, so is checking the memory
RAM - Test with Memtest86+ <--- I recommend letting it run overnight for reliable results (unless it just spits out errors right away then you know it's bad ram)

    Disk Check

Also if you know which company made your hard drive, you can go to their website and use the tools they provide to check the drive.

I actually just turned it on earlier today, when I was going to try to read the dumps. Then, the dump reader/windows tool didn't want to install so I just posted my dumps here, and then disabled it, so now it's off again. Still getting drivers to install; the Jmicron didn't want to instlall with the verifier on but now it is :)

Thank you - I finally got everything squared away with the drivers. Here is my new zip file. I have reset twice without issue - so hopefully that is all it was, but I am not sure yet since it mostly does it on cold starts more than resets.

Unfortunately the same thing is happening again. This morning I turned on the computer and this is the typical thing it does to me:

Turn on computer, it gets to the Windows 7 loading screen (windows logo), then BSOD'd.
Computer resets itself, I choose start normally for loading options.
The computer gets to the login screen, I enter my pass and press enter, resulting in a BSOD (one I have seen before, the System Service Exception, nvlddmkm.sys). I have to press reset.
The computer stays at the pre-bios screen, I reset again.
This time I am able to get into Windows.

I have attached a new system health report and dump file.

I'm on my laptop so I don't have my debugging software handy right now, but I'm going to ask that you do this
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

It doesn't take much time and it will tell us if there is a problem with any of the windows core files.
