BSOD's every time I start computer 2-6x then works
Required info:
System info:
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Service Pack 1
It is a fresh install as of March 7th, previously had reinstalled in Feb but got these errors so tried to reinstall in March, then a week ago I started getting errors again
Version of Windows: Retail (I built the computer in 2009)
Age of system: 2009 parts, but from 2009 to Feb 2011, never had this issue once
Reinstalled Feb 2011 and started having issues
Attached is the BSOD information and system health report. Please note I turned on Driver Verifier and restarted prior to the health report, so it may not be accurate (with verifier on the system seems a tad unresponsive). If you need me to turn off the verifier please let me know and I will and repost a new health report with it off. I do use Comodo Antivirus, but Windows does not recognize it. LOL...
Here is the weird part: The system never BSOD's except when I restart/start the computer. However, then I can experience multiple attempts to log into Windows before finally getting in. I haven't had a BSOD once I have been in Windows more than 30 seconds.
I go to turn the computer on in the morning, and usually this is what happens:
The computer either hangs at the boot screen (the pre-bios screen), in which case I press reset. Then, the computer will usually boot to the logon screen, where it may BSOD right then, or after I type my user pass and press enter, or shortly after logging in (usually it's before I log).
I tried reverting to the original NVIDIA drivers, and used the Driver Sweeper meant for NVIDIA files to do so, with no luck.
I am new to bug checking and dumps. I am trying to install the Windows Software Development Kit, but it seems to be doing nothing, just sitting there "preparing to install".
One of the frequent BSOD's I get is "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". Sometimes it says it is a system service problem.
This is a system I had built in 2009, and up until I installed a fresh install of Windows in February, I had no issues with it, so I am not sure why on Earth I am having problems. I reinstalled because I was repartitioning the hard drive so I figured I would just reinstall anyway. Bad idea I suppose.
I do animal rescue and have been busy with that so I have been letting this problem go, but when I need to get on the computer, and I can't, it's bad because I need the info ASAP for certain cases, and also must use Skype for some people to be able to communicate with me. Sometimes I have to fight with the computer for 10 minutes before I can get in. I'm realizing I can't really leave the system this way anymore. I tried to reinstall and that did not do anything...well, okay, it was good for maybe a week, then it started again.
