I've also tried it with a 430 W Antec Truepower 2.0 without a difference in the end result.

Good news! I exchanged the processor for a new one today and have been running Prime95 for 3 hrs without a hitch (previously it wouldn't run for more than 15 minutes at most without some kind of problem). Thanks for helping me in the process of elimination.
